Analytical systems / mission-driven products / human-centered technology

Shekhar Bajgain

I build analytical systems and human-centered digital experiences that feel precise, useful, and alive.

I work at the intersection of software, analytics, finance, and mission-driven digital products. My strongest work combines technical rigor with ownership: understanding the problem, building the solution, launching it carefully, and continuing to improve it after release.

Profile

A builder with analytical range, practical judgment, and a strong sense of responsibility.

About

I build analytical tools and public-facing digital products with care. My interests span computer science, mathematics, finance, and law and policy, but what connects them is a practical mindset: solve real problems well, communicate clearly, and produce work people can rely on.

Work

The best evidence is work that was actually built, shipped, and maintained.

Featured build

Kathmandu Animal Save

I designed and developed the website, purchased the domain, launched the public presence, and continue to maintain and update it as needs change. Kathmandu Animal Save is a small mission-driven organization working on vegan advocacy, animal rights awareness, and broader environmental and social causes. Because I had already been part of the group in Nepal, I treated the website as real infrastructure: something useful, credible, and sustainable that could help the organization reach a wider audience.

  • Built the site from the ground up and established a formal public web presence.
  • Handled domain purchase, launch setup, and ongoing ownership directly.
  • Maintain the website over time instead of treating launch as the finish line.
  • Used technical work to strengthen the reach and credibility of a nonprofit cause.

Scope

Design and build Domain and launch Ongoing maintenance Mission alignment

This project shows initiative, execution quality, and responsibility after launch. It reflects the kind of ownership employers can trust on real work.

Endorsed by National Animal Rights Day and the Plant Based Treaty.

Risk and simulation

Monte Carlo Risk Simulator

Developed a Monte Carlo simulator calibrated on five years of AAPL log returns. Estimated drift and volatility, generated 1,000 paths over a 252-trading-day horizon, and analyzed downside exposure through terminal distributions and tail outcomes.

Service and Community Work

Service matters because it shows how technical skill is used when people actually depend on it.
